Wow, chuan man! (Wow, tired man!) The stairs to my house nearly took my breath away. Actually they did. When I reached my house, I was panting so hard I couldn't answer my ringing phone and had to hand it off to Joe. I love being home. I mean, I love my parents place, and my kids are there and all but there's no place like home. When I first imagined how my surgery would be like, same path as a bypass, sternotomy so named because they have to saw through the sternum, and how I'd be all wired back up, I forsaw a looooong road to recovery. Plus a lot of pain. I'm a real chicken when it comes to pain. All 3 kids were delivered with epidural way way early in the labour. Some earlier than others. Anyway. It's a whole lot better than I imagined. I got cramps worse than this! I should take you a photo of my bruised right arm though! 3 tries to find them an artery and nothing! This from an anesthesiologist! His assistant had better luck AND skill on my left. Grrrr..... Tasmin is so scared of my bruises that she's avoiding me la! Slowly, let me type out my op experience then you all can come curse at him with me together! The previous day.The next day.
